My Philosophy

The Goetz Voice Studio represents a wide range of professionals of all ages who require stamina and solid technique to meet the demands of their jobs. Some sing on Broadway eight times a week, some are on tour dealing with the stress and fatigue that can bring, some are professional Jewish Cantors singing two days straight on High Holy Days while others are just beginning and need to know exactly what will come out of their mouths at that important first audition or college entrance exam. Some require the delicacy and nuance of recital singing while others face the extreme demands of opera. All different but all needing a solid foundation from which to scale the heights. 

After years of performing myself, I understand the demands of the business. Taking voice lessons and studying both Pilates and Alexander Technique are a part of my regimen and enable me to continue honing my own craft. My goal is that my students will develop a solid technique that will enable them to have long, productive careers in whatever discipline they choose. Every person is special and every person has a specialty. I facilitate that exploration.

The Goetz Voice Studio was established 1992 and is centrally located in midtown Manhattan, convenient to the A, C, E, N, R, W, B, D, F and 1 trains. Lessons are 1 hour long and can be taught either in person or remotely depending on individual needs
